faq & information

Opmerking

This information is intended as general guidance and does not replace personalised medical advice. Your individual situation and treatment options will always be discussed during your consultation.

General
(1)
How do I know which treatment is right for me?

We decide this together during a consultation. We assess your facial structure, skin quality, and your personal goals, and base our recommendations on that. We never use standard treatment plans—everything is tailored to you.

(2)
Are treatments painful?

Most injectable treatments are well tolerated. We use very fine needles and, when necessary, a numbing cream. A mild tingling sensation is normal—actual pain is not.

(3)
How long does a treatment take?

Depending on the procedure, treatments usually take between 30 and 60 minutes. The initial consultation is always included in this time.

(4)
Can I continue my day afterwards?

In most cases, yes. Some treatments may cause mild redness or swelling, which typically subsides within a few hours to a few days. You will always receive clear aftercare instructions.

(5)
Can I wear makeup?

Makeup may be worn during the treatment. The physician will disinfect the injection sites with alcohol and remove makeup only in those areas.

After treatment, makeup can be applied again after approximately 4 hours at the injection sites. Apply it gently to avoid massaging Botox into unintended areas.

(6)
Consultation and treatment in one visit?

Yes, this is possible. The consultation is scheduled with enough time to allow treatment to be performed on the same visit, if desired.

Safety
(1)
Are injectables safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

No. For all injectables—including botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid fillers, skinboosters, polynucleotides, PRP, and PRF—safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been established. We therefore do not treat patients during this period. No exceptions.

(2)
Who performs the treatments?

All injectable treatments at POMME Clinics are performed by medical doctors only. No delegation, no exceptions. In-depth anatomical and medical expertise is a core part of our safety standard.

(3)
What if I am not happy with the result?

A follow-up appointment is always scheduled. If necessary, hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase. We value openness about results and encourage patients to discuss any concerns directly.

(4)
What treatments are possible during pregnancy?

For skincare, we offer the Waterlily Radiance Facial, a gentle, nourishing treatment designed to calm and support the skin.

When appropriate, we may add an enzymatic peel. This is a very mild, non-acidic exfoliation that supports cell renewal without placing stress on the skin.

During pregnancy, the skin is often more reactive than usual—more sensitive, more prone to irritation, and hormonally more active. For this reason, the focus is entirely on calming, hydrating, and protecting the skin. No active ingredients and no aggressive treatments are used.

(5)
When can I restart injectable treatments after giving birth?

After the breastfeeding period.

We recommend scheduling a consultation at that time so we can assess your skin’s needs and determine the right moment to safely resume treatments.

PLANNING & PRACTICAL INFORMATION
(1)
When is the best time to schedule a treatment?

Avoid scheduling treatments in the week before a major holiday or important event. Allow at least two weeks for optimal healing and final results to settle. Botox can be performed closer to events; fillers preferably not.

(2)
What should I avoid after treatment?

For the first 24 hours: avoid intense exercise, saunas, and alcohol. After filler treatments: avoid direct sun exposure and extreme heat for two weeks. You will always receive personalised aftercare instructions.

(3)
How do I book an appointment?

‍You can book via pommeclinics.com or contact us directly. We always start with a consultation so we fully understand your goals before proceeding with any treatment.

TREATMENTS
BOTOX® & MUSCLE RELAXERS
(1)
How long does Botox last?

On average, 3 to 4 months, depending on the treatment area and your muscle activity. With regular treatments, the effect may last longer over time.

(2)
Will I look frozen?

Not at POMME Clinics. We use low, precise dosing focused on natural relaxation rather than eliminating expression. Your facial expressions remain intact.

(3)
At what age does Botox make sense?

This depends on your skin and muscle activity rather than your age. We may recommend preventive treatment when appropriate—but never because of age alone.

FILLERS
(1)
What can be treated with fillers?

Cheeks, lips, jawline, chin, tear troughs, and nasal contouring. We always work from facial harmony and balance, never treating a single area in isolation.

(2)
How long do fillers last?

Depending on the product and area treated, results typically last between 6 months and 2 years. Deeper areas generally retain results longer than the lips.

(3)
Can fillers be dissolved if I don’t like them?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase. This provides both medical and emotional reassurance that there is always a way to reverse treatment if needed.

SKINBOOSTERS & COLLAGEN
(1)
What is the difference between Profhilo® and fillers?

Profhilo does not add volume. Instead, it spreads through the skin and stimulates collagen and elastin production. The result is improved hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality—without added volume, but with a natural glow.

(2)
How many treatments do I need?

For Profhilo, treatment typically starts with two sessions one month apart, followed by maintenance every 6 to 12 months. Sculptra works by gradual collagen stimulation over multiple sessions, which will be discussed during your consultation.

POLYNUCLEOTIDES (PDRN / SALMON DNA)
(1)
What do polynucleotides do?

They stimulate cell regeneration, improve overall skin quality, and support tissue repair. They are commonly used for fine lines, tired-looking skin, scars, and around the eye area, as well as for recovery after other aesthetic treatments.

(2)
Is this the same as PRP?

No. Polynucleotides are a manufactured medical product, whereas PRP uses your own blood plasma. Both stimulate tissue regeneration, but through different mechanisms. In some cases, they can be combined.

Recommended treatment interval: 2–4 weeks.

PRP / PRF
(1)
How does PRP work?

A small amount of blood is drawn, centrifuged to concentrate growth factors, and then reinjected into the skin. Your body does the healing—we simply activate the process.

(2)
Who is PRP suitable for?

PRP is suitable for anyone looking to improve skin quality naturally without external substances. It is also effective for hair loss and scar improvement.

CYJ HAIR FILLER
(1)
What is a CYJ Hair Filler?

An injectable treatment designed to support the scalp in cases of hair thinning and hair loss. It contains growth factors and hyaluronic acid that stimulate hair follicles. It can be used alone or in combination with PRP.

(2)
How quickly will I see results?

Results typically become noticeable after 2 to 3 months. Hair growth is a slow biological process, so consistency in treatment is key.
